Grade 6 Camp and Naplan Practice

Well, what a mixed week!  Grade 6 students had their  three day camp at Orford and grade 5 students were preparing for Naplan (Sorry grade 5.)  Here are a few photos I took last year of the day spent on Maria Island and lots of new ones from this year of the students. Again I did the two walks with the students after a fun boat trip to the island. The children had a fantastic day on the island and were lucky enough to see dolphins and wombats!

That dolphin!

To infinity and beyond!

Wednesday I was at school with the grade 5's helping them to unpack tricky maths questions and to use a wide variety of strategies to help them feel more familiar with the problems often posed. I also ran a maths relay event.
